Obituary of Rose Marie Fournier

January 24, 1937- September 10, 2019

Rose Marie Fournier, age 82, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on Tuesday, September 10 in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Rose was born January 24, 1937 in Vermillion, Alberta, the only child of William and Helen Corrik.

In 1954 Rose married Leo Fournier in Edmonton, AB. and together they had 2 children while living there. Rose and her husband Leo then moved to Sunset House, Alberta where they added seven more children to their family. Later in life Rose and Leo moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta where they spent their retirement years.

Rose is survived by her children Larraine, Rene, Doria, Helen, Bobbi, Joe and Billy, along with her many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rose was predeceased by her father William Corrik, mother Helen Corrik, husband Leo Fournier, son Philip, daughter Ida and grandson Brady.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie AB on September 21 at 1:00 pm
