Obituary of Sharon Pauline Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Thomas on September 30, 2019 in Spirit River, Alberta at the age of 60 years.

At the time of her passing, Sharon was currently working at a group home with Mountain Plains Community Services; a role that was dear to her. Most people however, got to know her in Spirit River through her time at IGA and on Spirit River Town Council. She was a kind, caring woman who loved to help others wherever she went. Her thoughtfulness and great sense of humor will be missed by all.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, James Thomas, her daughter, Jennifer Belanger, her sister, Joyce Bain and her brother Lyle Larsen.

She was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Floyd Larsen.

A Memorial Service for Sharon will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Spirit River Centennial Hall.
