Obituary of Ethel Faye Dupuis
Ethel Faye Dupuis loving Wife, Mother of 6, Grandmother of 10 and Great Grandmother of 5 passed away peacefully in Beaverlodge with family at her side on Friday December 6, 2019 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 83 years.
Faye was born in Beaverlodge on April 11, 1936 to Ernest and Ethel Harding. Faye was raised in the Elmworth/Hinton Trail area. Faye and Ron were married on March 25, 1955. They also raised their family in the Elmworth area and in 1988 they sold the farm and moved to Beaverlodge.
Faye cherished her family more than anything, nothing put a larger smile on her face than holding one of her grandchildren or great grandchildren. Faye touched the lives of many people, she always had a smile on her face and was very compassionate and caring. She would always stop and take the time to have a conversation with anybody and she always saw the best in people.
She was an avid gardener and she loved working with plants and flowers, always loving to share them with her family, friends and neighbours.
Faye will be sadly missed by her husband of 64 years Ron Dupuis, five children Jo-Ann Dupuis, Darcy (Harold) Schalin, Wade (Shannon) Dupuis, Tammie (Mike) Dalgleish and Kevin (Carla) Dupuis, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one more on the way, sister Jean McArthur, brothers Merle, Bob (Evelyn) and Alvin, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Faye was predeceased by her father Ernest Harding, mother Ethel Harding, sisters Edna, Dorothy, Mary and Doris, her first born son Baby Dupuis and grandson Brody Dupuis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11:00am at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church (409 10 Street in Beaverlodge, Alberta).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital (P.O. Box 480 Beaverlodge, Alberta T0H 0C0).
