Obituary of Ronald James Hill

June 27, 1952 – February 13, 2020 Ron was born on June 27, 1952 in Calgary, Alberta to Alfred and Margaret Hill. He married Linda Langton on October 9, 1970 until her passing in September 1994. He then married Pat Storle in Grande Prairie on August 26, 1995. Ron worked at different jobs over the years, trucking, construction, Linwood Homes, Safety Supervisor in oilfield, a driver for Scott National and Northern Bottling, Evergreen Park grounds worker, Pipestone Golf course grounds worker, and driving school bus for First Student. He loved to golf and country dance. His main enjoyment was working with people. He loved to spend time visiting and spending time with his family and friends. Ron is survived by his wife Pat Hill, daughter Tina Hill, son James (Shana) Hill, and daughter Stacy (Doug) Johnson. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Joy (Steve) Reid, Kirk (Tiffany) Schlamp, Alyssa Thorig, Shalyn (Scott) Snider, Devon Johnson and Kassandra Hill; father-in-law Ray Ball, Brother-in-law Scott Storle, brother-in-law Kevin (Megan), brother-in-law, Wayne (Mavis) Storle, sister-in-law Dianne Patterson, brothers Wayne Hill, Dennis (Stephanie) Hill, sister-in-law Christine Hill, brothers Tom (Debor), Gary , Ken (Lyn), father-in-law Lorne Langton, brothers-in-law Randy (Kelly) Langton and Ken Langton as well as many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Alfred Hill, mother Margaret (Leggitt) Hill, father-in-law Lawrence Storle, mother-in-law Lorraine Ball (Storle/Duncan), mother-in-law Shirley Langton, Linda Hill (Langton) 1st spouse, granddaughter Peyton Johnson, brother Darryl Hill, sister-in-law Mary Lou Hill, sister-in-law Shauna Hill and nephew Luke Storle. A Celebration of Life for Ron Hill will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:00pm at Evergreen Park, Tara Centre, Hall C.
