Obituary of W.R. (Willie) Stanley

Willie Stanley, long-time resident of Worsley, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly at the Grande Prairie Hospital on December 14, 2016, one day before his 89th birthday. He was surrounded by his family. He will be missed by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn, his children Ross (Deb) Stanley, Tracy (Danny) Wayland, and Kelly (Tim) Stanley, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Willie was pre-deceased by his son Robert Stanley in 1986 and his wife Betty Stanley (nee Lund). A Celebration of Willie’s Life will be held on Monday, December 19 at 1:00 PM at Worsley Ski Hill.
