Obituary of Avery William Stoetzel

It is with heavy hearts we mournfully announce the passing of Avery William Cain Stoetzel. Avery passed away after a year-long battle with cancer at the Points West Hospice. Avery was an avid artist who enjoyed drawing, tattoos, and had an absorbing personality that will be forever remembered. Friendship and family meant the world to him. He would go to unlimited lengths to help a friend in need, or would simply be there for someone who needed a listening ear, a shared laugh, or a shoulder to cry on. Avery is survived by his father Wayne Rutberg, his mother Cindy Yaceyko (Stoetzel), grandparents Art & Cecile Sicard and Dennis & Carol Ann Rutberg, great grandfather John Godard, brother Carter Yaceyko, sister Abbie Yaceyko, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Clarkson Hall, Evergreen Park, Grande Prairie.
