Obituary of William Donald Wilkinson

July 02, 1946 – January 05, 2017 It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Willy died at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Willy was a caring family man to us all, he will be deeply missed. He was a virtual social butterfly who would reach out and talk to all he met, whether through working in logging or the oil patch, at the race track or camping. Survived by his wife and soulmate of 45 years, Sharon, son Jeff (Kristy), daughter Tiffany (Jerry), grandchildren Richelle, Hailey, Gage and Jayden, sister Mavis Wilkinson and family, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. The Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Paul’s United Church 10206 – 100 Avenue, Grande Prairie Alberta.
