Obituary of Donald MacGregor Lindsay

May 21, 1948 – January 6, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Don Lindsay. Don was a longtime resident of Grande Prairie. He was well-known and dearly loved through his passion for music, specifically 50’s and 60’s rock and roll, his love of radio, and a great dedication to local theatre. Don is survived by his wife Marie, daughter Michelle, and son Brad (Chelsie); grandchildren Olivia, Brigette, and Cooper; father Robert Korstad, sister Patricia Putnam, aunt Pat Schneider, and numerous family members. He was pre-deceased by his mother Vera Ziglar and uncle Harry Schneider. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at Forbes Presbyterian Church at 9635 76 Avenue Grande Prairie, on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1 PM followed by interment at Grande Prairie Cemetery.
