Gordon returned to Grande Prairie 37 years ago where he purchased the last piece of the homestead from his brother. The Hockey Homestead has been in the family for 104 Years. Over the years Gordon was successful in many businesses and ventures. While working at Rodachers he met and married Verna, his wife in 1957.
