Obituary of Tom (John Thomas) Brewer

June 22, 1944 – February 18, 2017 It is of great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Brewer on February 18, 2017 at the age of 72. Tom will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years Barb, daughters Jennifer (Jeff), Lori (Brian), son Mark (Karla), and sister Carol (Brian Dumsday, nephew Sean and niece Kristin); brother in law Gary Doyle (Diane), sister in law Cindy Fitzpatrick (Matt), sister in law Shelley Pattenden (Wade) and several nieces and nephews whom he also loved very much. Tom was a devoted family man and he felt blessed to become a grandfather to his precious grandchildren: Dane, Hanna, Kayla, Brody, Kalaly, Arantxa, and Sienna. Tom was predeceased by his parents John and Lillian Brewer; in-laws Earl and Theresa Doyle and his two loyal companions Chimo and Bruno. Tom was an active member of his community. He was president of the Kinsman Club, a Rotarian (Paul Harris Fellow), Vestry member of the Christ Church Anglican, president of the Shores Condominium Association, member of the Grande Prairie College Board, and several other committees that demonstrate his dedication to his community. A celebration of life will be held at Christ Church Anglican on Saturday February 25, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
