Obituary of John Michael Cordssen

~~June 10, 1965 – May 6, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John on May 6th, 2017 at Points West Hospice, Grande Prairie, at the age of 51 years.
John was born in Montreal, PQ and moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1979 and he was a huge Montreal Canadians hockey fan. As a young boy he played soccer and  his love for the game stayed with him thought out his life. He had a passion for cooking. His lasagna and rice pudding were requested over and over again by his many friends and family. John was always there to lend a helping hand  or shoulder to lean on. He truly had a heart of gold. He will be missed by all who know and loved him.
John is survived by his life partner, Christine Wright, his fur baby, Chubbs, sisters, Rika (Ernie) Helliker, and Sue (Ben) Cordsssen-David; nieces and nephews Alison and Michael Helliker, and Katrina and Andrew Cordssen-David.
He was predeceased by his parents Ingeborg Luttkopf Cordssen and Johann Cordssen.
A Gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday May 10th at 3pm at 101e,11039-106 Avenue, Grande Prairie.
