Obituary of Rosie Hannas

It is with heavy and saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosie Hannas on May 9, 2017 at the age of 84 years.
Rosie married Albert Hannas on November 17, 1953 and she farmed with him from when they married until his death.  She lived in Rycroft for her last few years.
Rosie enjoyed gardening and she loved flowers.  She enjoyed picking berries and mushrooms and loved to cook and to keep her family fed, especially with perogies and cabbage rolls. Rosie loved to laugh and most of all, she loved people.
Rosie is survived by her children:  Tillie (Randy), Judy (Moe), Dale (Johanne), Debra (Bruce),  Duane (Colleen), and Kevin (Amber).  She is also survived by her sister Mary (Bill), her daughter-in-law Myrna, son-in-law Robert, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, her daughter, Darlene, her parents Telka and Mike and her siblings: John, Bill, Walter, Nick and Nettie.
A Graveside service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 1pm at the Greenway Cemetery, Rycroft, AB.
