Obituary of Douglas Ivan Pigeon

~~March 13, 1976 – April 14, 2017

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we mournfully announce Doug was taken from us so early in his life.

Doug was an exceptional mason, a trade he learned from his Dad.  He was a talented artist and loved drawing, woodwork, metal work and was a natural musician with any instrument from piano to horns but guitar was his favorite. He was an excellent baker and cook and it was always exciting to taste his new creations.  Doug had a heart of gold and was always there for his sister, Amanda for advice and protection.

Doug will be remembered and forever in our hearts of his sons; Shawn, Brayden and Matthew Pigeon; his granddaughters Isabell and Grace, his mother Marlene Pigeon, step-father Mike Belair and his sister Amanda Pigeon as well as his nephews Kirk, Evan and Marcus and his niece Lexus.
Doug was predeceased by his father Douglas and brother Derek.

A funeral service for Doug will be held on Friday, May 19th at 7pm at Saint Paul’s United Church, Grande Prairie.
