Obituary of Viorel Cristian (Cris) Marchis

May 19, 1980 – June 18, 2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cristian Marchis on June 18, 2017 at the age of 37 years.
Viorel married Lauren on January 23, 2010 and having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, was employed by Chamco Industries.  His many hobbies included gaming, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and his puppies.
Viorel is survived by his wife of 7 years, Lauren, his parents, Viorel and Mia Marchis; his in-laws Bryce and Karin Brown, his sister Adriana Florea and his nephew Fabian and niece Zenia; his brother and sister in-law John and Shan Froude and his fur babies Maddy, Momo and Mavis.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Ana, Jacob, Leontina and Traian.
A Celebration of Life for Viorel will be held at 1pm  on Friday, June 30th  at Mission Heights Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Drive, Grande Prairie.
Memorial donations in Viorel’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 201 9452 51Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 5A6 or the SPCA.
