Treena, Kelly, Dean & families - I am so sorry about the loss of your dad Rudolph. He, Ralph Lien and I began our grade one together at Brandland School. We would all meet at 'the corner' and walk together. We had so many good times while wallking and at the school. Your dad had short legs but he could round those softball field bases in one big hurry! He always had a little smile on his face and you could never tell what mischief might be coming - never anything harmful but laughable. You might remember stopping once at my house in Wetaskiwin with your dad's motorhome - yeh, many years ago but never forgotten. I know he is going to be missed by anyone who knew him, especially Sylvia even though they were literally in two different ends of Canada - love never lets distance into the hearts of those closest/dearest to us. I am glad Sylvia was able to spend some summer-time with Rudy, and I spent about 1 1/2 hours with her at the airport before she went home. I know Christmas is not going to be easy without your dad, but be assured he is celebrating a great Christmas with his Lord in Heaven and his spirit will be with each one of you. Rest in peace, Rudy, and your memory will always be close in my heart not just as a good childhood neighbour but a dear classmate.
