Obituary of Eric Kirscht

August 31, 1945 - January 11, 2018

It is with deep sadness that the family of Eric Kirscht, announces his passing on January 11, 2018 at the age of 72.

Eric was born on August 31, 1945 at the hospital in Grande Prairie and was raised on a farm in the Wembley area.   He started working at a very young age in camps and then later, in construction.

He met Jean McInnis, the love of his life, when he was 23 and they married shortly after on June 28, 1968 and three children soon followed.  Eric enjoyed fishing, hunting, working hard and spending time with his family.  He loved the outdoors and his dog, Rosco.

Eric is survived by his loving wife, Jean, daughter Bonnie Christensen (James), son Stan (Bernie) and his son Warren (Trina), and eight grandchildren:  Taylor, Tennessa, Nolan, Makaila, Trey, Sean, Kayden and Aubrey.  He is also survived by his siblings, Richard, Dorothy and Ruth.

He was predeceased by his parents Otto and Agnes Kirscht and his brother Alec (Pete).

A Celebration of Life for Eric will be held at a later date, to be announced.
