It’s not just loosing the love of my life but also loosing my best friend. We had our lives planned out together. We were planning to move back to B.C., the place he loved the most, and purchase a lakefront home to start a family of our own. His family and friends were always the most important thing to him, especially becoming a father himself. Although aside from family, fishing came next. Anyone who knew Jordan knew how much he loved fishing. Any chance he got, he was always going out to the big lake. It’s even where he took me for our first date.
Jordan was my first and truest love. From the moment I met him, I couldn’t get him out of my head. 8 years together doesn’t feel very long now that he’s gone. We wanted to be the elderly couple you see walking down the street holding hands, saying they had been together for decades. We had it all planned out. He was the most amazing, loving, kind and down to earth person I ever met. He helped me become who I am today. I will miss every bit of him. His smile, his eyes, his touch, his voice, his hugs and kisses, how he could always make me laugh even on the darkest of days, how we used to drive each other crazy but had a love so deep and tender we could make it through anything. So from here on, every day for the rest of my life I will honour him in every way possible, he will never be forgotten. We have all gained the most amazing guardian angel, unfortunately just way to soon. Forever in my heart, my love.

It is with a heavy heart that I cannot be there today with all of you to remember Jordan and celebrate his life. I’m sure there will be many tears. How can you love someone so much and not shed endless tears. I do hope, however, that your memories and the stories told will also bring you comfort and even some laughter. Hugs and love ❤️

Jordan will be dearly missed. I had the pleasure in getting to know Jordan at work. We just spent the last year working together. We had some great conversations about life, his love for fishing and the importance of family. He spoke about his love for Amy a lot and always smiled when her name was mentioned. He was a true gift to this world and I will truly miss our conversations. There really aren’t a lot of men like him in this world and it’s sad that he won’t be around anymore to share his wisdom and patience with others.
I will miss you my friend. I will miss you dearly. God took one of the great ones too early.

Amy (& family),
We are so very sorry for your sudden & tragic loss of your beloved Jordan. We cannot even begin to image the shock you are feeling and what you are all going through at this very difficult and heartbreaking time. We know (& witnessed first hand) that his passion & love in life was first & foremost YOU and the life you shared together. In addition to you, his love of the outdoors & B.C. was a topic of conversation every time we chatted … and most recently impatiently waiting for the fishing season to open to allow him to get some much needed and deserved R&R. We regret that we did not take Jordan and you up on the offer to go out in the boat, but regrets hinder happiness so we will imagine how much fun it would have been :)
We remember times that we offered Jordan a few “cold ones” when he’d just randomly wander over to our home & offer to help out with whatever we were doing … tho he'd state, “I don’t need a beer to help out, but I won’t turn it down”...lol! I (Pauline) remember telling him once that I wasn’t in the mood for a beer, but he insisted that I drink one with him as it had been my idea :) ....and of course one of his fav & regular comments to Rob was, "Happy Wife, Happy Life Rob", he got it right hey! ...funny how memories linger.
We will miss the sound of his truck starting in the mornings, and the quick, “good morning” as we go off to work… & the quick chats upon returning home … and the interesting conversations as we lingered outside.... and him seeding / treating our desperate grass situation and warning us that he had done so and telling us to be sure to keep the girls off it for a few days so they would be safe....& most recently agreeing to checking our new video door bell to be sure it was still working! Tho his life was cut short way to soon, he left a lasting impression.
We will always remember Jordan as a kind, strong-willed, hard-working man who was always there to help out. We’ve only known you guys for about 4 years, but in that short time it was obvious how much love existed between the two of you. Please know that we are thinking about you and the family as you all go through this very difficult and heart-wrenching time. Savor the abundance of memories you have of him and his spirit will always be near.
Take care, lots of love & big hugs XO
Rob & Pauline (Mullett)
