So very sorry for your loss. She was a no nonsense lady with a fiercely independent drive. I enjoyed my interactions with her over the years and know that you will miss her dearly. May you find comfort and strength in your family and friends and may her love live on in your memories and stories. Hugs. T

So very sad to hear off the passing of your Mom! She was such a vibrant, happy person! I loved to chat with her whenever our paths crossed and will always remember her giving Sylvia a little kitten from one of her many litters. We all treasured and loved that little kitten! Our sincere condolences to all of you. She was one in a million!!

She is my favorite ma in law by far.. I will miss her is an understatement.. I'm not sure why she nicknamed me Tough Nut but I will miss her calling me that. Our Sunday night phone calls could have been 3 hours long with all the stories she had! I enjoyed every minute of knowing her. My family and especially my mom pass on condolences.. RIP ma in law.. I love you and miss you.

Elsie was like a mother to me always there for advice and help. We knew each other since I moved to Wembley 18 years ago and we were very close friends. We talked for hours of her youth in Williams Lake and her years with Rodeo, Rodeo trick riding and life working in the Hunting Guide Camps, life on the ranch and the things they did for fun.
We worked together at The Wembley Greenhouse and I also helped her alot in her own L.C. Perrenials Greenhouse before her season started. She taught me so much about the local area.
Never a week would go by that we did not talk on the phone or see each other in person. I knew her kids and grand babies threw our chats and they knew me, but we had not met yet for the most part just one or two. The one thing she always kept her word to you and was bluntly honest.
I talked to her while she was in hospital in St Albert and she was so happy to hear from me. Talked to her in Beaverlodge hospital several times also.
I will keep my promise to her and do a reading of a poem that has special meaning to her and to me .
At the end of every in person chat and phone call we ended it with Love you, catch you on the flip side.
So Elsie I will catch you on the flip side.
