Obituary of Darell John Hommy

September 1, 1963 – June 18, 2018

It is with sad hearts that we mournfully announce the passing of Darell at the age of 54 years.

He will be missed by his parents, Gwen and Larry Hommy; sister, Monica (Donald) Elliot; brother, Darren Hommy; brother, Andy Hommy; his grandmother, Doreen Fair; and many Nieces and Nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Gimli Cemetery on the Goodfare Road.

Darell was a lonely soul but loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed playing cards and board games with us all. He loved teaching his nieces and nephews how to gently bend the rules. Golf was a passion that too soon he had to give up, so he started putting on many miles walking.

Gone, but never forgotten, missed every day, always loved. Walk on, my Brother.
