Kim there are no words that will lessen the pain that you are feeling right now. My heart aches for you, Braden and Steven. The loss of a child is unbearable and creates an ache is your heart that does not ever go away. I know this first hand. There is comfort in all of your cherished memories of Steven and these will help carry you through this very difficult time. He was taken much to young, but flies with the angles now. He is free. Steve was such a big part of Keatton's life and I'm sure that the two of them are having quite the reunion.
This is a poem that I wanted to share with you.
A Picture of You
I only have a picture now,
A frozen piece of time,
To remind me of how it was,
When you were here, and mine.
I see your smiling eyes,
Each morning when I wake,
I talk to you and place a kiss,
Upon your lovely face.
How much I miss you being here,
I really cannot say,
The ache is deep inside my heart,
And never goes away.
I hear it mentioned often,
That time will heal the pain,
But if I'm being honest,
I hope it will remain.
I need to feel you constantly,
To get me through the day,
I loved you so very much,
Why did you go away?
The angels came and took you,
That really wasn't fair,
They took my one Son,
My future life. My heir
If only they had asked me,
If I would take your place,
I would have done so willingly,
Leaving you this world to grace.
You should have had so many years,
To watch your life unfold,
And in the midst of this,
Watch me, you Mom grow old!
I hope you're watching from above,
At the daily tasks I do,
And let there be not doubt at all,
I really do love you
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and if you every need a shoulder or an ear from someone who knows exactly what your going through, I am here for you.

The weight I feel in my heart for you all is heavy, never should a parent have to say good bye to a child and I cannot fathom how you, Kim and Steve, are dealing with such a loss ! Even though the miles keep us apart you both know how much I love you and if there is anything you need or want to ask of me I am here for you ! Although no words can express what I want to say just know if I could ease your hurt hearts even for a moment I would ! Only time will ease this pain, may good memories fill in between the broken pieces and may you find comfort that Steve has peace of soul xoxo Sending my hugs n luv to you all xoxo
