Obituary of Barbara Lynn Stanyer (Lawrence)

May 2, 1964 – November 20, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter Barb at age 54 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, Calgary, Alberta on November 20, 2018.

 Barb was born on May 2, 1964 in the Grande Prairie Hospital and received her education at Harry Balfour School in Grande Prairie and Wembley Schools and the Grande Prairie Composite High School. She went on to pursue training in cosmetology as a hair dresser and pedicurist and later in life she attended the University of Lethbridge.

 In later years Barb devoted her new life to doing missionary work for her Lord and has now gone to join Him.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, George; daughter, Erica; son, Nykola; brother, Gary; parents; Ken and Madaline and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be forever remembered.

A memorial service will be held on January 19 ,2019 at 11a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church 9610 108 Ave Grande Prairie, Alberta. Interment will be in May 2019
