My sincerest condolences to D'arcy's family. It has been many many years since I've seen or spiken to D'arcy but there are people you meet that leave an indelible impression.
D'arcy was the sweetest, smiliest person when I knew him in my early 20's.
I always felt like he was one of those "forever people" that you knew you were lucky to know. He listened to me drunkenly babble on how hard stuff was at the time (early 20's single mom back in the 80's). I don't remember his exact words but I do remember that me reminded me of how lucky I was no matter what my present situation was and he meant it with 100% conviction. He was right of course and it was exactly what I needed to be reminded if at that time. It was a gift. I'll always remember him for that. I'm only sorry that I never thanked him for it.
May he rest easy.
