Greg started school in Ridgevalley, took grade 2 in Alvin, Texas & finished & graduated in Ridgevalley.

Greg had a passion for all of the Crooked Creek, Ridgevalley and DeBolt area.  He spent countless hours volunteering and donating in all aspects of his community activities and development.  Also, Greg was involved in the business community, most notably, Smoky River Outfitting, one of Western Canada’s most successful guiding businesses.  Sports and outdoor activities were first and foremost in Greg’s life.  As the kids got older, he was actively involved in all of Mikayla and Reed’s sports and got them both involved in hunting.  He was also very active in the success of the Ridgevalley Rustlers hockey program.  Greg was an integral part of the creation and success of the DeBolt Slowpitch Tournament.

Greg was predeceased by his mom Linda, grandparents Ben & Olive Sutley and Harry Freisz, cousin Dustin Robertson and his Uncle and namesake, Gregory Sutley.
