I extend my sincerest condolences to the Chateau family. I worked with Wilf when I first moved to Fairview. I was in my early 20’s. He and George Choukalos were my mentors and friends. Wilf and Mrs. Chateau invited me over a few times for holiday suppers as I was just a kid and my family was 6 hours away. I really enjoyed those suppers and the Chateau hospitality. After Wilf retired I would always enjoy running into him up town at the post office. I have not lived in Fairview for a number of years but I have often thought of Wilf... RIP

Sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with your husband/Father in 1988-1990 at Anderson Exploration in the Fairview area (Woking Field) and he was a GREAT mentor and became a good friend for many years. I will never forget the many lessons that he taught me along with that old Dodge Van that he used to drive to the plant.
