Obituary of Owen Keith Carpenter

January 16, 1957 – May 24, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we mournfully announce the passing of Owen “Moose” Carpenter on May 24th, 2017, after a long fought battle with cancer.

Owen is survived by his children:  Michael (Ronda) Carpenter, Rory Carpenter and Candace Carpenter; three grandchildren; Byron, Cameron and Sienna.  He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Johnson; brothers Jim, Gary, Randy, Kimble (KC) and Bob; his sister Heather and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, William Carpenter, sister Candace Carpenter, infant son Raymond and his step-father Leonard Johnson.

A funeral service for Owen will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 10407-100 Street, Grande Prairie on Wednesday, May 31st at 2pm with interment at Lake Saskatoon Cemetery and a gathering at the Wembley Recreation Centre to follow.
