Shocking and sorry to hear of cousin Gordon's passing. My mother was very fond of Gordon and his brother, occasionally referring to them as the Beaver Boys in reference to Gordon's dads business, Beaver Motors, in Holden AB.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family. Dave and Betty Frebrowski

Donna,
I was shocked and so sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. It was so nice to see you both at Ashton’s wedding a couple of years ago. Back in high school, I fondly remember being in class and Gord sitting one row over and 3 desks down smiling and laughing at something or someone – he was quite the character all those days so long ago. Many Blessings to you and your family - cherish the memories.

Donna, Tara, Raeanne and families,
I just want you to know what an amazing man I always thought your dad was. In January of 1993 he was interviewing me for a job at his ACO liquor store. About half way through the interview he asked me " Are you John Feeney's daughter?" I paused for a moment and answered with "Well that depends if you liked him or not" to which he replied "you betcha he worked with my mom at the Royal Bank in Holden" Well that seemed to start of one of the best Boss/worker relationshipS of my life. Gord NEVER expected us to do anything he was not more than willing to do himself. He taught me over the years while I was learning to manage a store some of the best advice I still use to this day; Always try and acknowledge your staff doing something good once in awhile, it means so much for motivation. Not matter how much of an a**hole you encounter keep a smile on your face and don't let them see you flinch. I could go on and on.
He is one of the greates leaders I have ever known, and he will be very missed, and I am extremely blessed for having known him. 25yrs later I am still doing what I did with him and I will always think of him fondly.
P.S.
Safety meetings at the Crown & Anchor were awesome too! hugs and prayers for you all.
