Obituary of Gordon Allen Komarnisky

March 6, 1957 - January 31, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we announce the heart breaking passing of Gordon Allen Komarnisky of Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 61. With his family at his side, he sadly lost a brief but brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer

Gord put his heart and dedication into every aspect of his life; his family, his friends, work and sports. He was a person who always gave people the benefit of the doubt and treated everyone he met, like they were a good friend!

He is survived and deeply missed by his wife Donna of 42 years, daughter Tara and Dennis Shmyr, daughter Rae Ann and Miguel Laybourne, grandchildren Brynn, Marae, Callen and Kelsey, brother Greg and Bev Komarnisky. Gord will also be missed by numerous family members and many friends.

We will be celebrating Gord’s life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 6 pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home/Richmond Reception Centre, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie.
