Margaret Savage (nee Winterford) passed away June 26, 2014 at the age of 86 after a brief battle with cancer. Dolly, as she was commonly known, was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1928 and immigrated to Vancouver, BC as a war bride . She and her family moved to Edmonton for a period of time before settling permanently in Grande Prairie in 1970. Dolly was an active volunteer in the community and had a love of reading and gardening. She had a generous spirit and will be remembered by many for her warm hospitality. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jack and his family and by her four children Lyn (Paul) Connolly, David Winterford, Tom (Megumi) Winterford, and Mark (Deborah) Winterford, her grandchildren Joanne, Donna, Jessica, Kate, Kokoro and Anna and great grandchildren Jake and Yvette. Dolly was predeceased by her husband Hank Winterford.
