I was so saddened to hear of Marion's passing. She was the first parent that I met when I came to Grande Cache in 1980 . Both she and Frank were always so kind to me and it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. I , like others , saw her as a mom, which was especially nice for a girl living far from family in southern Ontario. She always spoke so fondly of all of you kids and her grandchildren.The picture of her is beautiful and I think, really does capture her with the sparkle in her eyes and the look that tells you she's about to say hello and have a chat. i was fortunate to have Susan in my English class- it gave me the chance to meet your mom and get to love her.She will always have a place in my heart and I will smile at the memory of her.
