Alex Robert Heft March 25, 1938 – April 20, 2015 He was born in Webster, Alberta and raised in Sexsmith, Alberta. In 1958, he moved to Kitchener, Ontario where he met his Wife Sandra Hergott and married in October of 1959. In 1963, they moved back to Sexsmith and then into Grande Prairie in October of that same year. Alex loved his children and grandchildren. He loved working in the yard especially getting rid of the dandelions and stomping on the ants. He was a proud member of the ACT club. In early years he loved camping at Wapiti garden looking after his garden and chopping wood for the fire pit. His favorite hobbies were playing Bingo and going to the Casino. Sometimes very lucky other times not so lucky. Left behind to mourn are his four children Pat of Edmonton, Joan of Edmonton, David (Karen), Kevin (Mel), five grandchildren Melanie, Trudy, Ashley, Sunny, MeMe, his two brothers and five sisters.
