Obituary of Lee Richard Danielson
May 22, 1962 – August 11, 2019
Lee Danielson of Grovedale, Alberta was born on May 22,1962 and passed on August 11,2019 in Grande Prairie Hospice at the age of 57.
Lee attended the Grande Prairie Composite High School while starting and completing an apprenticeship program to become a licensed mechanic. Following this he started working at his father’s shop, (Vern's Wheel Alignment) and worked in this trade for 18 years.
During this time Lee met and was briefly married to Jodi Zenner of Debolt, Alberta and along came Nolan, Desiree and Layton.
Thereafter Lee became an oilfield operator, and also during this time primarily took pride in his small cattle operation in Grovedale, Alberta.
Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping, and later became a small aircraft pilot, later owning his own plane.
Lee dealt with many different health issues throughout his life; eventually losing a courageous battle to brain cancer.
He is survived by his father, Vern Danielson, brother Russell (Kim) Danielson, sister Bonnie Danielson Keller (Mike Keller), sons Nolan and Layton Danielson, daughter Desiree (Ryan) Siemens; grandchildren Dawson and Raina Siemens.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Danielson.
A Celebration of Life for Lee will be held on September 7th, at 2pm at the Grovedale Community Hall, Grovedale, AB, with everyone welcome to attend.
