Obituary of Stanley Arthur Alstead
November 5, 1930 – September 25, 2019
Stan Alstead, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly a longtime resident of Elmworth, passed away on September 25th, 2019 at 88 years of age, at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie, with his family by his side.
Stan lived on the farm in Elmworth, farming until retiring in the year 2009. He then moved to Grande Prairie where he lived until his passing.
Stan is survived by Eileen, his wife of 57 year, his son, Curtis Alstead, sister Lucille Kobel of Surrey, BC, and nephews from Surrey and surrounding area.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Olga Alstead and his brother James Alstead.
As per Stan’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
