Obituary of Robert Bjornson
April 9, 1963 – October 10, 2019
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Robert Conrad Bjornson. Robert passed away at the U of A hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Robbie was born in Hinton, Alberta. Throughout his entire life Robbie had a nature-loving adventurous spirit that allowed him to live life to the fullest. Rob’s quiet personality took a back burner to his wilder side when he was given the tools to explore on everything from horses and dirt-bikes to ultra-lights and street bikes. His quiet patient ways were an asset whenever Rob took on any task as he would always put a great deal of thought and preparation into every job that he did, whether it be rebuilding a motor or preparing the perfect cup of coffee.
Along with numerous loving family members and friends Robbie will always be in the hearts of his parents Hugh and Wilma; his siblings Jay (Sandra) and Shelly (John); his nieces and nephews Alicia (Dustin), Tori (Shaun), Brody, Nolan and Joel; and his grand-nieces Zaia and Novah; as well as his extended family, C.J., Michael, Dustin, Kalie and Daylah.
Rob was pre-deceased by his Grandparents Noel & Hazel Mason, and Roy & Carol Bjornson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eureka River Hall on Friday, October 18 at 3:00 pm.
Donations in memory of Robert Bjornson can be made to the Heart and Stroke unit at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.https://www.universityhospitalfoundation.ab.ca/
