December 29, 1929 – December 27, 2019 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Baggett, of Clinton BC and most recently Grande Prairie AB. Jim passed away in Grande Prairie on December 27, 2019 just two days before his 90th birthday. Funeral service will be held on January 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Clinton BC with Pastor Vicky Escobedo of Living Waters Christian Fellowship officiating. There will be a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life in Linaria AB at 12:00 pm on January 25, 2020. Jim was born in Linaria Alberta to Joseph and Magdalene Baggett on December 29, 1929. He went to school in Linaria. He worked as a farmer, a laborer, a tree faller, and a sawmill worker until retirement in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping anyone fix just about anything. He was deeply involved in his church and acted as a Sunday School Teacher and Board Member. Jim is survived by his son Doug (Marjorie), grandchildren Megan and Mitchell (Amy), and many nieces, nephews and good friends. He is preceded in death by his son Howard, brothers John (Vera), Mark (Ruth), and Percy, and his Sisters Mary (Walter) and Dorothy (Art). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charitable organization of your choice.
