Obituary of Eileen Marie Kyle

June 7, 1938 – January 8, 2020 We sadly announce the passing of Eileen Kyle, a loving mother and a hard worker who passed away on January 8th, 2020. Eileen was born on June 7th, in Kleskun Hills, Alberta. Eileen (Mom) enjoyed many remarkable things in her life, especially the company of people, whether in her travels or in the many years she owned and operated the Debolt General Store and the Blue Apple Café, that she finally retired from in 2016. It left an empty spot in her life every day as it was her extended family for about 20 years. There were way too many stories to tell from her guys in the morning and families at night. Eileen was one of four daughters born to Henry (deceased November/1949) and Annie Gresko (deceased May/1992) along with sisters Ada Berg (deceased November/2017), Annie Menard (deceased August/1986) and Gloria Lawrance. Eileen has an amazing extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Donald S. Glass and they had four children together. Cynthia (James) Moody, Donald Kyle (Beth Vandermeer), Christine Kyle (Kevin Rode) and Ronald Kyle. She has 9 grandchildren; Jeffrey, Jason, Josh, Lindsey, Alex, Nick, Kenny, Luke and James; great grandchildren Daron, Michelle, Kirstin, Marissa, Addison, Dylan, Jette, Journey and Dominik Kyle. A Celebration of Life for Eileen Kyle will be held on Saturday, January 18th at 2pm at the Debolt Hall with coffee and lunch to follow.
