He married his wife Jean on April 20, 1963, and they moved to Canada with their two young children in 1967. They settled in Red Deer where Tony worked as a surveyor until he started farming in the Red Deer, Penhold, and Lacombe area were he went on to sell real estate. He moved the family to Grande Prairie in 1982 where he sold life insurance and even spent some time in publishing. In 1993 he moved to the High Level area and began grain farming there. Later on, he started a public transportation company, Northern Express Bus Line. Tony and Jean shared over 52 years of their lives together and shared many wonderful memories.
