Ken was always a great part of our family. He will be missed by all of us. Ken and I spent much time together growing up together when he often visited us in Smithers. We hiked together, fished together and just thoroughly enjoyed our young lives together. My memories of Ken will always include that rather unique little chuckle he had - even as a kid. Something about it was infectious! As would be expected, over the years life and its various forms of work etc moved us apart from our childhood closeness. However, we did get together on frequent family events as they occurred during the past 50 years. It was always easy to "catch up" on things with Ken as it was as though we had always been in touch, even though we did not make great efforts to write etc. Ken will be missed not only by his many friends but even more so by his extended family members who, like myself, will cherish the many memories of an individual who was special to all of us!

I first met Kenny at the Vancouver Community College back in the 70's. Kenny worked in the Counselling department and I worked the front desk in the Administration department. We were starving students bent on getting our Grade 12 and had a great time achieving our goals. Kenny was the best study buddy ever. Over the years we stayed in touch and on occasion met up. Kenny, I will always hold you dear to my heart. You are a good man. My condolences to the family.

I was so saddened to hear of Kens' passing. I was fortunate enough to have gotten to know him through the oil industry, with all of its' ups and downs over the years...enjoyed doing business with him and had some great visits at the Grande Prairie Petroleum Association events through the years. Many condolences to the family.
