Margaret Weaver passed away in Beaverlodge Hospital on June 23, 2015, at the age of 93 years. She was born in the UK on October 24, 1921 and attended school there until 1938, when she joined the British Army where she drove a medic truck. Margaret met her husband Arthur at a USO show in Aldershot in 1944 and they married in 1946. She enjoyed gardening and treasured her years working at the Didsbury Museum. Margaret is survived by her son Ken (Marlene) Weaver, daughters Linda (Brian) Dickau, Cheryl Weaver (Ken Gorgichuk), and Marguerite Weaver (Ben); grandchildren Tammy Weaver, Karlyne Greene (Brian), Robert Harvey, Jodi Harvey; great-grandchildren Ashley Tuttle, Ashley Greene, Eddie Greene, Kaylyne Greene; and great-great granddaughter Camber Greene. She was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur in 2005 and her parents Lillian and Avenal Stanton. Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10404 102 Street in Grande Prairie on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
