Verna Rebecca Marshall of Grande Prairie passed away on July 21, 2015 at the age of 92. Verna resided in Heritage Lodge for many years before moving to Mackenzie Place one year ago. Verna enjoyed the farm life, loved her horses, doing chores and her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and many crafts as well as puzzles. Verna is survived by her sons, Bruce (Elaine) Marshall and Harvey (Lek); daughters, Gloria Abel, Joyce (Ken) Kydd, and Darlene Morgan. Verna is also survived by her sister, Melva Peck as well as 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Verna as predeceased by her sister Leah Ulry, brothers Archie & Robert Peck and great grandson Jeffrey Regan. A Memorial Service for the late Verna Marshall will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 at 2:30pm at the Mission Heights Church of Christ (8321 Mission Heights Drive) in Grande Prairie.
