Robert J. Wallace passed away on August 13, 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was born in Edmonton, on February 8, 1937. Robert leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Grace, and two sons Rodger (Shannon) grandchildren Teyah, Wyatt and Jovi; son Scott and his wife Jennifer. He further leaves behind two sisters Patricia (Reuben) Netzer and Annabelle Wallace; one brother Richard (Helen) Wallace all of Edmonton. He was predeceased by a sister Barbara Grant and his parents. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Valerie (Harold) Tom of Edmonton and was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Duncan Nelson McIver. He is survived by many nephew and nieces whom he adored and many friends who are too numerous to mention. Robert enjoyed gardening, golfing and volunteering in the community. He was a member of the Grande Prairie Rotary Club and enjoyed their fellowship. A family graveside funeral was held in Edmonton on August 19th, with Rev. Annabelle Wallace officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. A celebration of Robert’s life will be held in Grande Prairie in the near future.
