With her loving family by her side, Lois Ilene Charney entered into rest on August 31, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Lois was born April 26, 1946 in Bezanson, Alberta to Lloyd and Lorna Nellis. Throughout the years, she enjoyed reading, woodworking and a good game of Scrabble. Lois cherished all her friends and family. Lois will be lovingly remembered by her husband Norm, son Doug, son Darren (Coleen King), daughter Leah (Bruce Turgeon), son Rob (Kathy) Dube, grandchildren Kiley Halwa, Renee Dube, Nathan Turgeon, Lexington Turgeon, great grandchildren Ava Halwa and Cash Halwa, brother Roger (Donna) Nellis, sister Marie Lacroix (Wayne Johnson), sister Sally Sedore, brother-in-law Don Charney, brother-in-law Jim Corbett as well as many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents Lloyd and Lorna Nellis, mother and father-in-law Jack and Becky Charney, sister-in-law Joyce Corbett, nephew Jim Sedore, great niece Jolene Rondeau and great nephew Marcel Rondeau. Interment to take place at 12pm at Sturgeon Heights Cemetery with the Celebration of Lois’ Life to follow at the Debolt Community Centre at 2pm.
