Amber Diebert

Obituary of Amber D. Diebert

On December 11th, 2015 our precious daughter Amber was tragically taken from us. Left to mourn are her parents, Reg and Linda Diebert; brother Lee (Candace O’Rourke); sister Amy Diebert; grandparents Bud and Laverne Sather; uncles Roger Sather, Mark and Loretta Sather; Ray Santa and special friend Joe Hassan, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Amber was predeceased by grandparents Emil and Mary Diebert, and Uncle Ed and Aunt Dorothy Diebert. Amber was born in Grande Prairie, lived in Wembley, and graduated high school in Beaverlodge. Amber was a very artistic girl who could often be seen colouring, drawing, painting and writing poems. She was a loving person who handed out hugs and laughter to all and was a friend to everyone. A true social butterfly, she could remember something about every person she met, even if she only knew them briefly. She could light up a room with her beaming smile and the twinkle in her eye. She made everyone feel totally at home. We would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Life in Amber’s honour at the Wembley Recreation Center on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Donations in her honour may be made to the Salvation Army at http://www.salvationarmy.ca/ or in person at the Northern Addictions Centre at 11333 106 Street, Grande Prairie.
