Jodi Dawn Beauchamp-Tansem passed away on December ­­12, 2015 at the age of 40 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Jodi was born on October 1, 1975 in Grande Prairie and grew up on the family farm south of Wanham. She loved the farm life; being outdoors, gardening, farming, quadding and anything else that meant getting dirty. She attended elementary at Wanham School and then moved on to the Central Peace High School. She then moved to Grande Prairie where she began her family having her daughter Destiny Tyler on March 20, 1995 and her son Dayton Cole on January 18, 1997. As she raised her children, she attended the Business Career College and received a high honors degree in bookkeeping and administration. In 2009, Jodi met Rod Beauchamp and extended the family with Gavin Brian on November 20, 2010 and Isabella Dawn on June 15, 2012. Rod and Jodi wed the following August in 2013 and moved their family to Grovedale where they lived on a beautiful acreage. Jodi was survived by her husband Rod Beauchamp; children Destiny Tansem, Dayton Jack, Gavin and Bella Beauchamp-Tansem; father Brian (Connie) Tansem; siblings Brandi Tansem (Kevin), Lacy Vowel (Lincoln); nieces and nephews Hayden Wagner, Zack Vowel and Brodie Vowel; maternal grandparents Einar and Ragne Sevre and Wes and Shirley Albert as well as many family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her mother Wendy Sevre as well as paternal grandparents Dave and Jean Tansem. The memorial service will be held on Friday December 18th at 2pm at the C.O.C.O. Hall in Wanham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society Alberta www.autismalberta.ca . Interment to take place following the memorial service at the Wanham Cemetery in Wanham, Alberta.
