To My Uncle Ted, the eldest of 6 on my mother’s side of the of the family. There are people that go through this world and have worked very hard all their lives and would never do anything to harm another and would give the shirt off their back to anyone but life or society missed recognizing or thanking them for being such a good person, citizen, pioneer, and the list could go on and on. More so, they probably got criticized or put down in life more than they got thanked or complimented. That was my Uncle Ted. Yet, if everyone in this country was like my Uncle Ted, our jails would always be completely empty. There wouldn’t be as many hurting or needing people. Everyone would sense that lots of people cared about them and wished well for them. Everyone’s ambition would be to work hard and do good for their fellow man and country. That goodwill seems to be a forgotten attribute but that was Uncle Ted. Thank you Uncle Ted for a job well done. I pray that your soul rests in peace.
