It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our mother, sister, grandma, great gramma and friend, Floris White. Born at Lethbridge and raised in Coaldale AB, Floris lived and worked in various locations throughout Alberta, and most recently Eaglesham, Bezanson and Little Smoky. She was always very resourceful and willing to lend a helping hand. She had a passion for cooking, reading, nature and flowers, and sewing, but most of all, being with friends and family. Floris was a Legion member and was always involved in senior’s activities including travelling to Nova Scotia to represent Alberta Seniors in Cribbage. Floris is survived by: her brother Alvin, daughters Arlene and Debbie, sons Kingsley and Robbie. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Reilly, Brittney, Garrett, Ryan, Aimee, Crysta, Nicole, Shandel, Payton, Kat and Lia; great grandchildren Adrianna, Cruz, Maya, Callie, Jeff, Trina, Eberley, Mahla, Chaselynn, Jocelyn and Tavian, as well as several extended family and friends. A Celebration of Floris’ life and gathering of family and friends will take place on February 20, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Little Smoky Hall.
