Walter Person was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 2, 1926, and passed away on January 21, 2013 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie, at the age of 86 years. He will be remembered with much love and will be missed by his children; Ross Person (Joan), Dean Person (Charlene), Shawna Perry (Neil), Cheryl Friesen (Ed), Kevin Person (Maria), Karen Crowe (David), Lori Person, as well as 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Walter was predeceased by his loving wife Ivy and his brother Norman Person. Funeral Services for the late Walter Person will be held at Christ Church Anglican on Friday January 25th at 1 P.M. Interment will follow at the Grande Prairie Cemetery. If friend so desire, memorial donations in memory of Walter may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
