It is with indescribable sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Marvin Loberg on August 15, 2014.

He leaves behind his children Mark (Lorrie), Orleen (Dave), Kirk, Todd (Charlene), grandchildren Jesse (Jennine), Collin, Adam and Analise Lehners, Katie and Emma and great grandchildren Jayden and Cameron.
Also leaves his siblings Arnold (Helen), Marilyn Sharples (Bob), Larry, Bev Niebergall (Ray), sister in laws Sandy Johnson (Dwayne), Barb Debler (Gordie) and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Marv,
My loving husband of 52 years and very best friend
You were a proud Norwegian,
An honest and trust worthy man who always put our family first,
A father to four terrific children that we are so proud of and you told them at every opportunity that you loved them,
A grandfather to six beautiful kids who will always be our pride and joy,
A great grandfather to two sweet kids that we are just getting to know
You were a cowboy and proud horseman who loved our trail rides in the Kakwa area
You were a teamster who enjoyed giving sleigh rides for over 45 years
Your wish was always to watch your family enjoy our ranch as much as we did
Marv, the love of my life, I will miss you forever
Patti
PS: And thank you again for giving me my first horse as a wedding gift that led to such a great lifestyle
No funeral service will be held. Please join our family for a Celebration of his Life at the Loberg cabin on Saturday Oct 4th 2014 from 2 to 6pm with a bonfire to follow.
Special thanks to the EMS responds team, RCMP and victims services for their service and support.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family would appreciate random acts of kindness and expressions of love to others.
