It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, Jesse Lawrence Ridsdale of Grande Prairie, formerly of Paddle Prairie. Jesse passed away at the QEII Hospital on August 23, 2013 at the age of 60 years surrounded by his loving family. He was skilled truck driver who loved rodeo and is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughters Carmen (Jason), Carol, Camellia, Carmella (Chris), and Noella, grandchildren Sydney, Tony, Eli, Dylan, Ethan, Gracy, Xander, and Jacob, his mother Ernestine, and siblings Bruce, Bonny, Glen (Lorraine), Carol (Victor), Joan (Troy), Faye (Greg), Nancy (Chester), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jesse was pre-deceased by his father Eli, and sisters Bernice and Janice. In Grande Prairie, a Family Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28 at 7:00 PM at Mission Heights Church of Christ, 8321 Mission Heights Drive, and a Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, August 29 at 11:00 AM St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10113 103 Avenue. Interment and luncheon will follow in Paddle Prairie on the evening of Thursday, August 29.
