Edwin Hotton (69) passed peacefully in the presence of his loving family on April 10, 2016 at Points West Hospice. Ed was born and raised in the Bear Lake area. He worked as a grain buyer for 7 years before moving back to the family farm where he worked for the County of Grande Prairie until he retired in 2011. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and golfing and he was always willing to help those in need. Ed is survived by his wife, Norma; son Patrick Hotton (Ruth Webb); daughter Christine Hotton (Jeremy Spofford); grandchildren, Ashley Hotton and Sawyer Hotton-Spofford; Brother Philip Hotton (Lorraine Hotton); Sister, Maureen Lindsay (Ben Gray; brother Don Hotton & sister Valerie Hoskins. Ed was predeceased by his parents Reginald and Elaine Hotton and his sister Jean Hotton. A Celebration of Life for Edwin Hotton will be held on April 16th from 2-4pm at Ed and Norma’s farm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a story to share at this casual gathering.
