Above all else he was a father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Garry (G.W.) Mudryk was an avid outdoorsman, amateur storm chaser, ornithologist and animal lover. He was a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner. Although humble in his accomplishments, Garry was a proud father and grandfather. He was also the kind of brother and friend who would give the shirt off his back for anyone that was in need of it. Garry is survived by his daughter Rhonda Mudryk, grandson Zachary Mudryk, brothers Ken Mudryk (Judi), Wes Mudryk (Sherry), Vern Mudryk and sister Cheryl Mudryk, nieces Erin, Megan, Jillian, Michelle, Sarah, nephew Drew, great aunt Jean Klufas, best friends Karl Gongos (Cate), Ned McLean (Sheri), Coralee (Kevin) Zaharko, Lynne Parlee and numerous close friends and extended family. He was pre-deceased by son Peter Mudryk, father Marshall Mudryk, mother Helen Mudryk, sisters-in-law Dorothy Mudryk and Jackie Beaudoin, former father and mother-in-law Bill (Tex) and Eilizabeth Kokotilo. A Memorial Service for Garry will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Stonebridge Hotel – Richmond Room at 2PM (12102 100 Street Grande Prairie, AB). A Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Memorial in Edmonton on May 14, 2016.
